How to Configure a Wireless Router for Hughesnet
Below is a list of the most common wireless routers that customers use with Hughesnet. With this table and the tutorial video, you should be able to configure you wireless router to work with your Hughesnet Modem. Sometimes your wireless router comes with a cd-rom disk that will help you configure the router. However, alot of these disk will include third-party software that will constanly run on your computer after the installation of the router. In our opinion these should be used as a last resort. The tutorial video will explain to you the use of the IP address so you can configure a password for your router. This will eliminate the ability of nearby neighbors connecting to your Hughesnet modem saving you from reaching your FAP and helps keep your connection safe and private.
